The setting of Dracula affects the mood of the reader. Dracula's setting is based around a Gothic castle: dark, tall, and creepy. Also, the castle was built on a corner of a rock with windows that you could not reach, usually dark on the inside. The mood that the reader gets is creepy, scary, gloomy, and/or unique. Since the castle is different and is not luminescent, it affects the mood of the reader and the view of the story.
